Conference 2: ISD Models

To participate in this conference, click on the ISD Models to review content. Post your answer(s) and comments to the discussion by Thursday. Before the end of the week, review your colleague's responses and respond on at least one of their responses.

Discussion: While reviewing the ISD Models section, you most likely found the information familiar and have used the various phases of ISD in your own work.

  1. In your review of the material concerning the different phases of ISD, which ones have you used in your CSI projects? Provide examples of your work using at least two different phases, your process or perspective of the process, and how the process improved the delivery of your work.
  2. Choose one of the ISD models you reviewed from the Course Content area and describe how this model could be used in your work as an Instructional Support Specialist.
  3. True or False: In selecting a model, the perspective and personal style of the instructional designer is more important than either the client or the type of project. Please provide your rationale for your answer.
